Next generation of stars come to Belfast
“Significant excitement and interest has already been generated throughout Belfast and the wider Rugby community and the announcement of a competitively-priced ticketing structure will further heighten that excitement as the city awaits the arrival of the world’s most talented Under 19 Rugby players,” said IRB Tournaments Manager Simon Jelowitz.
“With double-header games played on each match day, the IRB Under 19 World Championship offers an excellent opportunity for Rugby enthusiasts and sports fans alike to see the next generation of stars in action as they follow in the footsteps of Brian O’Driscoll, Dan Carter, George Gregan and Richie McCaw."
"We are confident that with six weeks to go until the opening match that the IRB Under 19 World Championship in Belfast will be one of the most successful in the Tournament’s history,” added Jelowitz.
The 24 teams are spilt into two divisions, with Division A matches played at Ravenhill, Belfast Harelquins and Shaw's Bridge, and Division B games played at Malone, Queens University and Bangor.
